Madison-based Sweeney construction is proud to support a variety of volunteer activities and charitable causes aimed at improving the local community and supporting those in need around the world.

	Sweeney is a regular participant and co-sponsor of the "Project Home" Hammer with a Heart initiative. "Project Home" assists low-income homeowners in their efforts to improve their homes by remodeling bathrooms, kitchens, basements or any portion of their house.
	Sweeney has donated to the Relay for Life event in McFarland, the nationwide signature activity for the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life raises money to fight cancer and raise cancer awareness.
	Sweeney Construction Corporation often donates a full day of Handyman service to the March of Dimes Chefs Auction. This fundraiser supports the effort to save babies from prematurity, birth defects, and infant mortality.

Sharing Resources Worldwide - Kathy Sweeney
Sweeney continues to support Sharing Resources Worldwide, an organization committed to providing medical supplies and equipment to people in need around the world. Family member Kathy Sweeney has played an integral role in Sharing’s effort to supply surgical support to the Honduran people. 
This organization's mission is to make surplus and recycled medical supplies, durable medical equipment and related items/activities available to needy populations around the world in order to improve the health and quality of life of the recipients and to empower the recipients to live with increased dignity, independence, and hope.
