Tim Sweeney,
Thank You. My project was started on time and was completed on time. My budget was respected. Larry, your lead carpenter is an incredible talent and he's lots of fun. Your office team, Pam, Lisa, and Kim, (aka the Supremes) is simply incredible. You always made sure that my property was kept secure. You were extremely considerate of my neighbors. I just wanted to give my Sweeney remodel experience a well deserved A+. And here are just a few of the reasons why.
After looking at lots of homes with you I bought a terrific 73-year old bungalow with location, location, location. The house had been a 4-bedroom rental for eight years and then was a home to several generations of squirrels (who have since forgiven their eviction). After meeting with me several times you and I agreed on a plan. You gave me a contract that spelled out every detail. Well before work started I knew what was being done, how it was being done how much it would cost, and how long it would take.
The first day of my project began with introductions to everyone who would be working on my home. Everyone was reminded that in addition to being a remodel project, they are working on my home. This "extra" effort was important to me. I really appreciated meeting everyone. My weekly meetings with you kept me informed. And I could see for myself how major jobs as well as the "details" were being handled. Just as important to me, our meetings ensured that I could do my part of the project efficiently and successfully. I was able to make selections and decisions with confidence.
At all times, my budget was respected and my costs and payment arrangements were clear.
At times I thought that a few of my ideas sounded like I might be watching a little too much television, but you made them workable and then you made them happen. For me, this was very cool.
This was my largest and most complex ever remodeling project. Every inch of the second floor of the house was completely redesigned and rebuilt. The spooky basement was reclaimed. The entire main floor living area was rebuilt. The spooky basement was reclaimed. The entire main floor living area was updated. Then everything, inside and out received fabulous new paint! An actual list of all the work would take too many pages. Bottom line, my charming old house was transformed into a wonderful home.
You listened to me. You gave me expert advice. You didn't let me do anything really dumb. You made yourself available. You explained things clearly. The few times my house did something unexpected you quickly sized up the problem accurately and then took care of it.
You're a great guy Tim. You do wonderful work. I enjoyed every minute of my remodel. I commend you and I recommend you and your team without reservation.

Tim Sweeney,
It has now been a couple of months since Sweeney finished our bathroom and a year since you finished our complete kitchen remodel, window replacement, floor refinish and house residing. As we live in the space, we could not be more pleased with the outcome.
The work was beautifully done. We continue to get compliments about each part of the project. As a cook, I especially enjoy the exceptional kitchen.
In the contractor selection process, you won us over the afternoon you had must have been 10 subcontractors visit the house to look at the project, ask questions and talk with us about our plans. That careful pre-work paid off in a plan that worked for us, and in minimum of suprises later. We appreciated a cost that was actually calculated rather than just pulled out of a hat.
Every single craftsperson who worked in our house was skilled, tidy and plesant to have around. Our children joked that we had breakfast with different people every day. While having done major work done in a house while you live in it is disruptive, the various workmen always made sure that the mess was contained and that we could live through the process.
We have already recommended Sweeney Construction to several of our friends, and will continue to do so. Please feel free to use us as a reference at any time.
